The Shoes Fit! SOLD

I was a little hesitant to purchase a pair of shoes for my papier mache doll but now I am glad I took the chance as they fit perfectly and more importantly, she likes them! I really like the two tone as well.

Another go at it!

I repainted my papier mache doll (again) and like the results much better. I think she looks more like the original paint pictured of the similar antique doll. I know I won't get a "perfect" look but at least I tried and I think she looks better than when I found her at least. I did leave a lot of scuffs to her hair to keep the antique look. She now has definition to her eyes and I really like her coloring. I have purchased some German made black and brown two tone shoes and made her some stockings from knit fabric. It is fun to work with a new "old" doll!

Antique Papier Mache Doll~Before and After

I purchased this 24"papier mache doll, I have been told by a couple of friends that this is most likely a M & S Superior. She was previously repainted by someone when I purchased her. I have repainted her again which is shown in the last two photos. I need to lower her eyebrows and add a little bit more eyelid  and lip definition according to the picture of the original painted doll. Thank you very much Terry and Annie for your help, I appreciate it.
