A New Dress for my Izannah Walker Doll

I went to the church tag sale yesterday and scored some fabric and lace so I decided to make a dress for my Izannah Walker doll made by Shari Lutz.  When I purchased her she had a very plain mustard yellow dress which I felt gave her complexion a washed out look. I had already purchased a beautiful blue dress from Carol Mc Daniel of which I added white eyelet trim to the sleeves and thought a second dress would be nice as well. Here are pictures of the dress I made using a dress pattern by Paula Walton. The last picture shows her teddy bear and two tiny reproduction antique cloth dolls I found on Etsy.

  1. Blues and browns together...just wonderful. I love the doll and the dresses. So much fun to dress these lovely "old" dolls.
