"Miss Emma" A Restored Antique Peg Wooden Doll

This poor peg wooden had seen better days. Someone decided to repaint her face and if that was not bad enough they glued on her clothes and layers of scarfs on her head. I knew she was a peg wooden when I saw her arms and the eBay description said she was made of wood. So....I stripped off all her clothes, stripped the paint off and re-painted in the traditional fashion, sanded then stained her. I hand stitched her dress which is an antique pink and white cotton calico print. I purchased her pink and white calico bonnet. Mission accomplished and she only cost $25.00 which is a bargain for this type of doll!
